Building with purpose. Investing for the long term.
East Coast Development is a Stratford-based real estate development company focused on creating thoughtfully designed residential and mixed-use properties throughout Connecticut. Led by developer and commercial builder Willie McCallister, the company transforms underused properties into lasting community assets. This adds much needed housing, supporting local businesses and bringing new investment to the neighborhoods it serves.
East Coast Development combines hands-on construction knowledge with a long-term owner’s perspective. Every project is approached with careful attention to quality, functionality, safety and the experience of the people who will ultimately call it home.
Built on more than 30 years of experience
Willie began his career installing drywall and worked his way up to managing large-scale commercial construction projects across Connecticut.
He brings more than 30 years of experience across nearly every stage of construction, including: site preparation, foundations, framing, mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing installations, interior finishes, building codes and project management.
He and his team maintain a hands-on approach, working closely with architects, engineers, contractors and tradespeople.
Willie remains actively involved in project details to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
